What's the difference?
An ASHI or Certified Master Inspector (CMI) and a regular home inspector is significant in terms of experience, expertise, and commitment to professional standards.
An ASHI or Certified Master Inspector (CMI), has:
✅ Proven Experience – ASHI or CMIs have completed thousands of inspections and have been in the industry for years, ensuring a deep understanding of structural, mechanical, and safety issues.
✅ Higher Standards of Certification – CMIs undergo advanced training, background checks, and continuing education to stay ahead of industry changes.
✅ Professional Accountability – We adhere to a strict code of ethics and best practices, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and reliability.
✅ InterNACHI Certification – As a CMI, I am part of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), which requires inspectors to meet and exceed national inspection standards.
✅ ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI): The highest level, representing full accreditation and recognition of the highest standards in the profession. Achieving the ACI credential signifies a commitment to excellence and adherence to the highest standards in the home inspection industry.
✅ No Wait Time Comprehensive & Same-Day Onsite Detailed Digital Reports – ASHI and CMIs provide more thorough and in-depth reports, helping clients avoid costly surprises.
In contrast, a regular home inspector may have minimal experience, basic state licensing, no background check and limited advanced training. Not all inspectors are created equal, which is why working with a ASHI and Certified Master Inspector (CMI) provides peace of mind and a higher level of expertise.
If you're in need of an inspector, the Fanatic team will be happy to assist or provide guidance to ensure they get the professional service they need.

Our Services
Radon Monitoring Inspection
The Radon testing we provide is to determine if high levels of radon exist. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. It is produced from the natural decay of uranium found in soil, rock, and water. The gas can accumulate to higher concentrations indoors. Exposure to elevated radon levels poses significant health risks, as it is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, following smoking.
Mold
The mold inspections and remediations we provide are a way to find or remove the type of fungus that thrives in moist environments, both indoors and outdoors. It plays a crucial role in nature by decomposing organic matter. However, indoor mold growth can lead to structural damage and pose health risks. Exposure to mold may cause allergic reactions, respiratory issues, and other health problems, particularly in individuals with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems.
Termite WDI Inspection
These termites are social insects, living in colonies of up to several million individuals, and are known to cause significant structural damage to structures by feeding on wood, often remaining concealed until substantial harm has occurred. Termite treatments and inspections we provide are essential for identifying or remediating the presence of wood-destroying insects (WDI) such as termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and wood-boring beetles. These inspections or treatments are particularly important during real estate transactions to ensure the structural integrity of the property.
